I have a problem. I buy a lot of games… and I mean a LOT of games. Steam is a terrible, terrible thing. Currently it shows that I own 310 games… 310! And I know I’ve not finished or have even barely played some of them. Now in my defense, that includes all the DLC I own as well, so realistically it is probably more like 240 some odd games…
It’s not my fault though… I see a Steam sale and I find myself fighting with myself in my head. I’ll let you listen in: “But it’s only 5 dollars… and it got a 82 on Metacritic… and it was reviewed really well… and I have always wanted to give it a shot… and I already bought the previous game in the series and whenever I find time to play that I’ll want to play this one… and it’s ONLY 5 dollars….” <Presses purchase button>
Yes, I tend to think-fight in run-on sentences. One of many ways my brain refuse to work in socially acceptable ways.
So between a stupid amount of games I want to get to and a MMO habit that I haven’t been able to break, I get pulled in many different directions at the same time and never feel like I have enough gaming time.
Only going to get worse in the future when the wife and I start procreating… heaven help me if we have a girl…
Anyways, this blog can be blamed on the Newbie Blogger Initiative. I have toyed around with the idea of creating a blog for a few years now and this has finally pushed me to give it a try. The topics are going to basically just be about whatever I’m playing at the moment. Some MMO’s, and some non-MMO games as well. I have a few more article ideas in mind and should be figuring this whole blogging site thing out over the next few days… or running away screaming… only time will tell.
